Claude Arriola:
Claude has coached for Quake City VBC for 7 years. He’s coached 12s, 13s, 14s, and 16s over the years. Claude has coached for Crystal Springs Uplands School for 6 years, coaching varsity, 6th and 8th grades. He is CAP and CPR certified.
In addition to his coaching experience, Claude has been the assignor of the Peninsula Volleyball Officials Association (PVOA) for 22 years. He currently provides officials for the West Catholic League, Public Athletic League, Bay Conference League, and the Private School League. He has been a certified official since 1977. In 1992 he was selected as California High School Referee of the Year.
Claude is well known to many in the Bay Area volleyball community and has organized volleyball events to raise funds for various non-profit organizations. He has over 30 years of volleyball expertise; and he dedicates much of his free time to providing youth with a positive environment to learn and enjoy volleyball.

Joseph Cheng: Joseph played on the Univeristy of Michigan's Men's club team. He was an assistant coach for an 18 power team before joining Quake City. With Quake City last year, he assisted with the 16 area team. In his second year with Quake City, he is an assistant coach for the 18 power team.

Gilbert Gilberstadt: Gilbert is in his 8th season as a coach for Quake City Volleyball Club. He’s taught at various levels/age groups ranging from 14 Area through 18 Power.
Gilbert’s coaching experience outside of club extends to high schools and middle schools. In 2002-2003 Gil served as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Mercy High School, Burlingame and also was a volunteer coach for the Pacifica’s Boys and Girls 8-A team. He also volunteers his time at various Catholic school volleyball programs such as All Souls, in South San Francisco.
Gil is IMPACT certified, CAP I certified, and is in the process of completing his CAP II certification. Outside of the club season, Gilbert has been participating as an official during high school matches. He has played recreational volleyball since 1997.

Charles Lee:
Charles Lee is returning for his 3rd season as a coach for Quake City Volleyball Club. He has also coached for Ralston Middle School in Belmont, training its 8th Grade - A Team. In addition to coaching, Charles has been a NCVA certified volleyball official and is currently an active member of the Peninsula Volleyball Officials Association.
Charles is passionate for volleyball and has over 30 years of expertise in the sport. He played competitively in high school, clubs, and various adult leagues. He was a player on his Men’s Region Champion college team.

Dawn Sparks:
Dawn Sparks is returning for her 4th season as a coach for Quake City. She is IMPACT Certified and has been a long time member of the Peninsula Volleyball Officials Association. She played competitively in high school, club volleyball, and in various Adult leagues. Dawn worked for the NCVA for 3 years as the Adult Division Manager, official and tournament director.
